Recording - Supervision & Control Systems
General description
The systems we install are a data collection and recording unit with the additional capability of system monitoring, which applies to the European standard EN12830 for the control and recording of temperature in food storage rooms (H.A.C.C.P.).
Applications
The unit is designed for installations that cover up to one hundred data collection points. Typical facilities are supermarkets and warehouses for the management, storage and distribution of food.
Work environment
It is a WEB server based on the LINUX operating system, which can be accessed through a standard browser (Browser) such as Microsoft Internet Explorer® or Mozilla Firefox® without the need for special software.
Interfaces
It can be connected to a local computer via the USB port or to a computer network via the RJ45 port. Using a fixed network address (IP) it allows the unit to access the Internet. Additionally, remote connection can be achieved via RS232 (dial up) modem. The unit can also operate autonomously using the built-in keyboard and LCD screen.
System capabilities
The capabilities of the system include managing and sending alarms, viewing data in real time, creating graphs, exporting data to Excel, sending commands to controllers and accessing their parameters, with the possibility of changing them according to the needs of the system.
The alarms are send via Fax, e-mail, SMS, or to alarm centers by activating the built-in relays. In addition, the system can be configured through parameters, to meet the needs and peculiarities of each customer.
Like different time delays / alarms per instrument and event. Different recipients per alarm and event as well as shipping method.
Another important function is the scheduler through which it is possible to send orders ex defrosts, based on real time.
Ease of use and functionality
The reliability of the Linux operating system allows the XWEB500 operator to manage the installation smoothly and without any problems. The use of any java-enabled browser offers an easy and comprehensive working environment, on any PC or PDA of the company from anywhere.
Using the "Layout" function, the installation can be visualized either by using images or by using drawings, facilitating the system monitor. Using the RS485 network test function, it allows the network installation to be checked and any communication problems to be detected.
